For me the highlight was the lights (they use one million fairy lights), I love lights at night and seeing their main street light up like I have never seen it before was just beautiful. The kids loved the falling snow and seeing all the Warner Bros. It was truly a magical night and a great way to celebrate Christmas and the start of school holidays with my kids. We were invited along to join in the celebration. Movie World celebrate Christmas each year in their park with a fun-filled night of beautiful music, a spectacular light display and a Christmas parade with all the favourite Movie World characters all in their very own style of White Christmas.
Christmas Holidays here are warm and involve picnics by the beach and lots of swimming. I have lived on the Gold Coast all my life and have never seen or been to the snow (it’s definitely on my bucket list though!).
